Frequently asked questions

Do you pick up directly from our warehouse or DC dock?

Yes. Xargo runs dock-to-door, so a vetted transporter pulls your pallets straight off your warehouse or distribution-center dock and carries the final city leg into NYC and New Jersey. You stage the freight as you normally would, and we handle the compliant urban-core run from there. Every pickup is scheduled, so it slots cleanly into your outbound flow.

What happens when the receiving location has no loading dock?

That is exactly what X-Stacker is built for. Your transporter uses X-Stacker to safely offload pallets at destinations with no dock, no leveler, and no forklift, so curbside and street-level drop-offs are handled cleanly. It means you can route freight into dense city addresses without worrying about whether the receiver can take a pallet.

Can Xargo absorb our overflow when our own capacity is maxed out?

Yes. Warehouses and 3PLs use Xargo as on-demand overflow capacity for the congestion-restricted city leg, so peak volume, surge days, and restricted zones do not stall your outbound. Our transporters run cargo vans, Sprinters, pickups, and kei trucks that are sized and compliant for routes oversized trucks cannot take. You scale up the urban leg without adding fleet or headcount of your own.
