Xargo Technologies LLC (“Xargo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Montana Corporation, provides a logistics and transport marketplace. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from our Senders (customers) and Transporters (independent contractors).
1. Notice at Collection: Categories of Data
We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you. In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of data:

2. Third-Party Sharing
Xargo does not sell your personal information. We disclose data to the following service providers to perform essential business functions:
- Identity & Background: Checkr and Sovos (SSN, Driver’s License, and Tax compliance).
- Payments: Stripe (Payment processing and Transporter payouts).
- Logistics: Active job data is shared between Senders and Transporters during a live delivery session.
3. Precise Geolocation Tracking
Transporters: We collect precise GPS data only while you are "On Duty" within the Xargo App. This is used for dispatching, route optimization, and proof of delivery. We do not track your location when you are offline.
Senders: Location data is used to coordinate pickups and provide real-time tracking for your shipments.
4. Data Retention
We apply the principle of purpose limitation to data retention:
- Identity Documents: ID scans are deleted immediately following successful verification by Checkr/Sovos, unless legal hold is required.
- Financial/Tax Records: Retained for T = 7 years to comply with IRS and Montana statutory requirements.
- Location History: Anonymized after 12 months for platform optimization.
5. Your Rights (CCPA/CPRA & MCDPA)
As a user of Xargo, you have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of what data we collect and how it is used.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of your account and personal info.
- Right to Correct: Fix inaccurate or incomplete data in your profile.
- Right to Limit: Restrict the use of sensitive info to only necessary delivery functions.
